A week ago we left for the Dominican Republic, where Omar grew up. It was my second trip there, but the first for Mr. B. It was an important introduction to what makes Omar, this influential person in our lives, who he is. When we’re there we don’t stay in a fancy all-inclusive resort; we stay in the home of Omar’s grandparents - Anita and Jose - where we are well-fed and well-loved. I’ve re-dated the entries to break them up a bit.
Also, it’s important to note, that we took turns with the camera, so some pictures are mine, others are by Omar and Mr. B.
